Yes! Where available, applicable Connects packages are marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate they are eligible for Recharge. This means you can set up this package to be repurchased automatically using your saved credit card when your Connects balance falls below a specified number.

In the Purchase section, if you select a package that is eligible for Recharge, a menu will appear allowing you to set up your Recharge preferences. You can either:

  • Leave Recharge switched off for a standard single purchase of the package, or
  • Switch Recharge on and select a number of Connects to enable the automatic repurchase of your package. You will then save a card on file (if not already saved) and agree to the terms. Next, you will complete your first purchase of the selected package.

NOTE: Only one package can be set up with Recharge on your account per facility.

To turn off Recharge: On our website, once you are on the Securus Text Connect page, click “Balance Alert/Recharge.” Or, on the mobile app, go to the $ menu and select “Balance Alert/Recharge.” From there, find the facility where you would like to turn off Recharge and disable the setting. Once disabled, you will go back through the purchase process described above if you’d like to set up a new Recharge.
