How long will it take for me to see my contact’s Text Connect response to my messages?
You will receive a push notification from Securus which informs you that you have received a text message, even if you are not logged in to the Securus app. To be sure you’ll receive these notifications make sure Securus Text Connect notifications are enabled in your phone’s settings.

How do I block a text message from an inmate?
On the Securus apps, launch Text Connect from the home screen and select the contact you wish to block. Click the Ø to the right of the name to block future messages. You can unblock by clicking it again.
Can I text an incarcerated individual?
Securus Text Connect service is available to a limited number of facilities. It allows you to purchase a number of texts that you and your individual share.
