Some states/facilities have agreements that cover Securus Text Connect, so these communications may be free for incarcerated individuals, as well as their friends and family. When you sign up for Securus Text Connect and add a contact at one of these facilities, you must visit the purchase section for that contact one time to load your initial package of free Connects. Then when your balance gets low, your account will automatically be refreshed with a new free package of Connects.
