When the incarcerated access the Connect Me app on their tablets, they will see new Text Connect messages, and they can respond immediately, as long as there is enough remaining balance in your Text Connect account. (They will get a message indicating they are blocked from further texting if there’s an insufficient balance). If your loved one is not on the tablet when you send a message, don’t worry – there will be a notification of your message on the tablet, and it will also be visible in the Connect Me app.
