At TDCJ, incarcerated individuals have an Securus Debit Account.

They can transfer funds from their Trust Fund account to their Securus Debit Account to pay for their own calls.

Family and Friends can add funds to the Securus Debit as well.

Funds placed in the Securus Debit Accounts become the property of the incarcerated individual and can be used to call anyone on their approved calling list. Friends and family will not be able to receive any funds back that were paid to the Securus Debit accounts.

 IMPORTANT:

This account is only used for making phone calls. Incarcerated Individuals are unable to use this for commissary orders.

 When funding an Securus Debit Account, you have three options:

Please make checks or money orders payable to Securus and allow 7-10 days for processing. Remember that the remittance form must be included with your check or money order.

To complete and print a remittance slip click HERE, be sure to include the incarcerated individual’s first and last name and the TDCJ ID number. This ensures the correct incarcerated individual receives the funds.
