Not currently. If the facility of an incarcerated individual that you have emailed on JPay is moved to eMessaging, you will receive an email to the personal address used as your JPay username to alert you to this change.

Incarcerated Individuals can initiate, not just reply to eMessages to Family & Friends that have previously sent them eMessages, provided stamps were either transferred to or purchased by the incarcerated individual through their Securus Debit account.

How do photos work with eMessaging?
Photos can be uploaded (must be appropriate), when sending an eMessage. When I transfer stamps to my incarcerated loved one, can they use the stamps to eMessage others?
When an incarcerated individual receives transferred stamps, they can use the stamps to eMessage any other Family or Friend member in which the facility allows.
Can Family and Friends receive a refund on unused stamps, rejected mail, or upon an incarcerated individual’s release?
There are no refunds on eMessaging stamps. This is the industry norm on correctional email services. Just like US Postal mail today, stamps are not refunded for undeliverable mail. How do I send a message on the Mobile app?
After signing up, find your incarcerated individual by name or ID#, select state and facility name and you can add an incarcerated individual to your account. You’ll then purchase a book of stamps then go to your Inbox and click on the pencil in bottom right-hand corner to begin your message.
